Indian Weddings

Indian weddings can be very beautiful. Hindu weddings are very bright events, filled with celebratory rituals, spanning several days. They are large affairs, often with 500-1000 people attending, many of whome may be unknown to the birde or groom. Though many marriages are still arranged, some modern couples in more urban areas have marriages based on love. The true Indian wedding is focused on two familes wedded sociall with little concern with the individuals involved. Hindu wedding planners are a rarity, but often seen in american hindu weddings.
